My Process

As midwife, my goal is to give you and your family competent care and the knowledge you need to make informed choices about your pregnancy and birth.

I started this journey in 2012 with the birth of my second child. When birthing my first, I felt belittled by the hospital staff with no information in which to make an informed choice.  With the birth of my second child, I had a home birth with a midwife where I felt respected and cared for.  It was after that birth that I had a paradigm shift.  I wanted other moms to have that same kind of support.  In 2015 I made the leap to attend Association of Texas Midwives' Midwifery Training Program. I apprenticed with Brenda Newport and finished my required clinical experience and academics in May 2021.

I love working with my clients and their families to help them be empowered through the birth and labor process. Every woman and every birth is unique!  I strive to provide mothers with personalized care and the encouragement they need to rock their birth!
